10th Fleet
 Project VanguardProject Vanguard is a far flung outpost in the Gamma Quadrant. Occupying Zulu Sector, the White Star Belt and the surrounding sector, Vanguard consists of an outpost and twenty five starships assigned to various missions within the sector. Home to the Chara Confederacy as well as a multitude of Pre-Warp and Early Warp species, Zulu Sector lies on the fronier of explored space in the Gamma Quadrant. The Dominion is scarce in the region, but reports have surfaced of a mysterious race known as the Red star Union. Recently there has been contact with Federation starships in the region but after minor skirmishes and rebuffed attemps at communication Starfleet has advised that it's vessels give RSU vessels a wide berth.
